The weekend ahead – Time for some F1!

Hey everyone, it’s been a bit less that a week since my last blog but yet here we are again. It’s been a bit of a quiet week for me this time..

First weekend off for over a month which was great. I got a chance to squeeze in some more training in the gym which is going really quite nicely especially when we get a break in the english summer – giving me the chance to train out side!!

On that theme; the week off also gave me a great chance to do some more moto x, which is without doubt my favourite for training. Sliding and flying around in the sand box is such a great feeling and takes a lot of physical strength and focus too! I just love the feeling of raw power and total control.

Other than that we have been busy preparing for the Silverstone Classic which is a big meeting for us at home as we’re running four cars including three Formula One cars for the family and a little Chevron for dad to share. I’m really looking forward to getting some more miles on the new circuit, It was great to drive the Ferrari there last month in FIA GT3 and I can’t wait to drive the F1 car round there!!

The competition is looking strong this year too – a factory Aston Martin driver, the current points leader from Japanese F3 and a current Touring Car driver as well as a few other previous winners of this event. This should all lead to a great race for spectators so it’d be great to see you all there!
